The SBIR/STTR program is the nation’s largest source of early-stage non-dilutive R&D funding for small businesses but it's one of the most difficult funding sources to win. In 2017, we launched OK Catalyst to overcome the challenges that historically kept the heartland off the map as a source for innovation.
With the help of partners, we were able to establish an ecosystem for early-stage startups to bridge the gap from researcher to the small business owner. In the coming weeks, the OK Catalyst Impact Series will highlight founders who are changing the marketplace with their inventive technologies and bolstering economies throughout the heartland.
